UI / Front End Developer - based in KL, Malaysia
Position Summary
You will be part of a large, challenging and exciting ‘Greenfields’ project that will result in you being an integral part of this highly qualified, exclusive AGILE development team, using the latest technologies (Silverlight, WPF) together with a project team based in Sydney, Australia.
Position Description
Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in development of a new member management applications with a focus on outward facing functionality for clients via the www;
- Work closely with project managers and design teams to develop, test and deliver high calibre front ends;
- Develop complex user interfaces for a web based application;
- Liaise with back end programmer to integrate, test and debug front end screens with back end applications and databases;
- Maintain a professional approach to documentation, including drafting project documentation for ongoing reference once a project is completed;
- Maintain a high level of awareness of best practice in the industry and web standards for areas such as emerging standards, SEO, accessibility etc;
- Analysis of business process and workflow;
- To deliver results on an iterative basis using an AGILE methodology;
- Support and knowledge sharing with other technical and business team members;
- Be prepared to learn new skills and work on new and emerging platforms.
Skills & Experience Required
Requirements:
- We are looking for a person with 3-5 years experience in UI/front end development who has worked on online applications. You will be creative and cutting edge with a passion for blending beauty, simplicity and usability.
Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in IT related discipline or similar.
- Demonstrated interface design ability with typically 4+ years experience
- 3+ years experience with CSS/XHTML including semantic mark-up and validation
- Experience implementing complex designs across multiple platforms and browsers in a high traffic environment
- Ability to create high quality design assets using related tools.
- Exposure to .NET based enterprise web applications.
- Proven AGILE development experience
- Photoshop, Dreamweaver or similar
- Ideally knowledge CRM or POS software
- WCF, WPF and Silverlight development experience
- Commercial web development experience (ASP.NET C#)
